Johan Elmander is a much in-demand striker after a terrific two-years with Toulouse, and he could even move on before Euro 2008 begins.
English clubs such as Tottenham and Bolton have showed an interest, but now Spanish giants Barcelona are said to be readying a bid.
That shows how far Elmander has come in recent years when it appeared just a few seasons ago that his career was faltering.
He began playing with local club Holmalunds but really made his name at Orgryte - where he spent just one season before being snapped up by Dutch giants Feyenoord at the age of 18.
Upon his arrival in Rotterdam he was heralded as one of the continent's best young players - but although he featured regularly he could not live up to his massive reputation and he returned to Sweden for a loan spell at Djurgardens in 2002.
He was then back in Holland, but again on loan from Feyenoord - this time with NAC Breda. Then given a permanent move back to Scandinavia came about with Danish champions Brondby snapping him up.
His move to Denmark kick-started his career and 22 goals in 58 games earned him a move to France with Toulouse, and he has shone in the South of France - helping them into the Champions League last year, but he is now ready to move on again.
During his up-and-down club career, his has been a constant in the national squad - without always getting a starting role, but he still has an admirable 11 goals in 30 appearances since making his debut in 2002.
He played a crucial part in Sweden's qualification with four goals in nine appearances.
