Valencia's Silva is a bright and promising winger, who is sure to dazzle at this summer's finals.
During the early stages of his career he was loaned out to SD Eibar and then Celta Vigo in a bid to gain first-team experience.
After a number of impressive displays he eventually earned a call-up to the Under 21 squad, before establishing himself in Valencia's starting XI.
He made his senior international debut in 2006, while many will remember Silva for his terrific goal against Chelsea in the Champions League in 2007.
Silva, who penned a new deal last June that will keep him at La Mestalla until 2013, can operate on either flank.
