Born in Argentina, Juventus winger Camoranesi qualifies to play for Italy through his grandparents.
He made his Italy debut in 2003 and featured at Euro 2004 and World Cup 2006 where they emerged as champions.
The 31-year-old made six appearances in qualifying for the Azzuri and could well start the first match against Holland following an impressive season as Juventus returned to Serie A and finished third.
Camoranesi can play on either wing, but normally features on the right and his pace and skill can cause the best defenders problems.
Despite some initial reservations, the Argentine-born midfielder has been accepted by the fans of the Azzuri and that is testament to Camoranesi's ability and performances for Italy.
