The AZ Alkmaar midfielder is one of the real unknown quantities outside of Holland but Demy de Zeeuw is in line to start for Marco van Basten.
The fact Holland operate in a 4-2-3-1 formation means the Oranje normally use two holding players - one of which is more than likely to be de Zeeuw.
Plucked from Go Ahead Eagles by AZ boss Louis van Gaal in 2005, De Zeeuw has quickly become one of the best midfielders in the Eredivisie.
Within two years of his move to AZ - De Zeeuw was called up by van Basten and he has been involved ever since.
De Zeeuw admits he has quickly become a part of the Dutch set-up.
"In the beginning I was in awe, playing with Van der Sar, Van Bronckhorst and Van Nistelrooy. I feel one of the boys now. I try to rule in training games and I won't be pushed around," he said.
De Zeeuw played a vital role in qualification as he featured in seven games.
